Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) held an information meeting at the Kayseri Melikgazi Municipality recycling facility on 17 June.

 

Local people and different refugee communities participated in the event, where information was given on recycling and waste reduction methods at home, with the slogan "Our environment is our home." The event came to an end after the recycling facility belonging to Melikgazi Municipality was visited.

 

The event is part of the “Community-Based Local Initiatives Project (CLIP 2)” funded by the joint fund of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union's Humanitarian Aid Agency (ECHO) and carried out by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ). It was carried out as part of the “Harmony Movement” project.
