The Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association participated in the "Volunteer Management Training" organized by GIZ in Ankara on August 17-18. During the training program, important information was acquired. The first day focused on the concept and history of volunteering, as well as the creation of volunteer management policies for civil society organizations. The second day provided practical insights into orientation, training, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and action plan development.
This event was conducted as part of the "Community-Based Social Services Improvement for Host Communities of Refugees and Vulnerable Populations in Turkey (CLIP 2)" project, jointly financed by the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO). The project is implemented by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
