The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) organizes the Turkish Conversation Club to help refugees, asylum seekers, and other vulnerable individuals improve their Turkish language skills and gain confidence in everyday interactions. This program provides a safe, supportive, and interactive environment where participants can practice speaking Turkish and strengthen their communication abilities.
Activities in the club include group discussions, interactive exercises, educational games, and thematic conversations, allowing participants to practice Turkish naturally and contextually. These sessions enhance listening, comprehension, and speaking skills while improving participants’ ability to navigate daily life in the host community.
Beyond language learning, the Turkish Conversation Club fosters social interaction, encouraging participants to share ideas, experiences, and support one another. This strengthens social cohesion and promotes a sense of belonging among community members.
By participating in the club, individuals not only advance their language skills but also develop social competencies and build supportive networks. The program serves as a bridge between language acquisition and social integration, empowering vulnerable individuals to actively participate in and engage with their communities.
