Dr. Zakira Hekmat, Founder and President of the Afghan Refugees Solidarity and Support Association, made a significant contribution to the Global Refugee Forum in Switzerland by participating as a panelist from the perspective of EU Migration and Asylum Partnerships.

As a member of the GRN MENA Executive Committee and an expert with extensive experience in EU migration and asylum cooperation with third countries, Dr. Hekmat provided an in-depth analysis of refugee-related challenges and policy approaches during the forum.

Her intervention offered an important perspective within the Global Refugee Forum, further strengthening international efforts to address refugee protection challenges and encouraging stakeholders to develop more effective and sustainable policies for refugees.
