The United Nations General Assembly has decided to celebrate 'December 5' every year as World Volunteers Day in order to spread volunteer-based work around the world and to announce its social benefits.
Since 1985, December 5th has been celebrated as "World Volunteers Day" in 123 countries, including Turkey.
The year 2001 was declared as the World Year of Volunteers all over the world in order to spread the volunteer efforts even more and the studies have gained more importance and speed after this date.
ARSA Association has been operating voluntarily since 2009. It carries out voluntary activities in 52 different provinces of Turkey with our 370 volunteer network.
We celebrate the 5th December World Volunteers Day of all our volunteers who set their hearts on goodness.
