Our project "Children with Backpacks" focuses on the global displacement crisis and the impact of trauma on forcibly displaced children. The aim is to provide a platform for these vulnerable young individuals to express their emotions, thoughts, and experiences through art and creativity. We will organize three workshops with the participation of 10 forcibly displaced Afghan children living in Turkey. In these workshops, children will convey their feelings, thoughts, and experiences through painting and drawing. The central themes of the workshops are "Hope," "Happiness," and "Resilience."

Before starting the workshops, in a sincere preliminary meeting with the children, Social Worker Meltem Demirel, who is also responsible for the project, got acquainted with the children, then discussed the themes in detail, and took into consideration the ideas of the children for the healthy progression of the workshops.
