MD. Zakira Hekmat, the Founder and President of the ARSA Association, introduced the medical profession or being a doctor to the students of the kindergarten at the Fereidoon Jingili School.
Dr. Hakim explained to the children in a very simple and childlike way about the medical profession, the duties of a doctor, the importance of medicine, and the activities of a hospital. She talked to them about how doctors examine their patients and showed them the tools doctors usually use during examinations. The children had the opportunity to listen to their own and their classmates' heartbeats for the first time and get familiar with medical equipment up close.
The introduction of the medical profession to children helps them become familiar with the details of this valuable profession. Through Dr. Hakim's talk and introduction, the children learned about the practical aspects of hospitals, the appearance of doctors, and the types of medicines.
Introducing the medical profession to children and familiarizing them with other professions teaches them an important economical awareness lesson. They learn that individuals help their communities and make a living by using their skills and performing certain activities. For example, doctors heal their patients and earn income to support their families. This realization motivates them to learn more.
Our children are the hope of the future.
