ARSA Association held a special event in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8. The program commenced with an opening speech by Dr. Zakira Hekmat, who emphasized the universal significance of women's rights. In her address, Dr. Hekmat highlighted the crucial role of women’s education and participation in social life in fostering societal development. She also underscored the ongoing challenges women face in accessing education and social opportunities in different parts of the world, stressing that this struggle remains a global issue.

As part of the event, an awareness session was conducted on gender equality, fundamental women's rights, violence against women, and strategies for its prevention. The session reinforced the message, "Empowered Women, Safer Futures," emphasizing that ensuring women's access to their rights is key to building a more secure, fair, and equal society.

Following the awareness session, the ARSA Children's Choir performed a musical presentation. The program also featured poetry readings and a dance performance, adding vibrant moments to the event. The celebration concluded with an iftar dinner, bringing participants together in a warm and engaging atmosphere.

This Program is implemented with the support of Terre Des Hommes leading international organization advocating for children's rights.
