The event organized by İstiklal Special Education Vocational School for the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth, and Sports Day on May 19th was attended by the Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association, Haluk Timur (Kayseri Special Education Responsible Branch Manager), İbrahim Bayram (Representative of the Provincial Directorate of National Education PİKTES), representatives from the Provincial Immigration Authority, Sinan Şef, management of Kayseri Education Culture Ethics and Environment Association, officials from Eğitim-Bir-Sen Branch No.1, school principals, and parents. The event began with a moment of silence and the national anthem. The school principal delivered an opening speech, followed by a performance by the school's folk dance girls' team, and later, the folk dance boys' group performed the traditional Zeybek dance. The school rhythm group presented a rhythmic show with musical instruments supervised by the school's music teacher. Subsequently, a music group supported by the Provincial Migration Management performed. Guests then visited an exhibition of handicrafts made by the school's students. İbrahim Bayram, the PİKTES representative, organized various activities for the students with volunteer mascots and clowns.ARSA's Social Worker, Meltem Demirel, and Case Worker wore mascot costumes for kids. All attendees, along with the school's parents and students, were served meals prepared by the school's teacher, Hüseyin Bozlak. Finally, the program concluded with a closing speech by the principal.
