On 13 November 2025, the ARSA Association successfully held the new term meeting of the Children’s Rights Committee under the theme “The Voice Belongs to Children.” The event, designed to strengthen children’s active participation, began with the children selecting from the “Children’s Rights Boxes,” officially initiating the session themselves. They then shared their thoughts about their rights, asked questions, and discussed different perspectives, creating a collaborative environment for collective reflection.
In the second part of the meeting, the 20 November – World Children’s Day celebration was held with great enthusiasm. Small gifts were presented to all children who regularly participate in the committee’s activities, and a brief informational session was provided on the importance of children’s rights.
As part of this special day, the management team for the new term of the Children’s Committee was also elected through a democratic voting process. Following the vote among the children, the following positions were filled:
-
Committee Chair
-
Vice Chair
-
Two Secretary Members
The newly elected chair and vice chair were presented with medals symbolizing their meaningful roles in encouraging children’s participation. These medals will continue to serve as a symbol of responsibility and leadership in each new term.
Throughout the event, children actively expressed their thoughts, shared their ideas freely, and communicated their expectations for the committee’s future activities. The meeting concluded with the official confirmation of the 2025–2026 ARSA Children’s Rights Committee Board Members.
ARSA Association remains committed to supporting children’s participation in decision-making processes and strengthening their rights through dedicated and ongoing efforts.
This program was carried out with the support of Terre des Hommes, a leading international organization advocating for children’s rights.
