Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA), in collaboration with Ret International, organized an event for participants of the Turkish Language Course and Turkish Speaking Club. As part of the event, a session was held on Gender Equality and Gender-Based Violence. This session was presented by a Social Worker and covered topics such as the definition of gender, the concept of gender in society, types of violence, the areas where Gender-Based Violence is most prevalent, and institutions aimed at preventing such violence. Additionally, emphasis was placed on Law No. 6284. At the end of the session, the KADES application was demonstrated to the participants.
In the second session, a Healthcare Professional led a discussion on Sexual Health and Reproductive Health. This session provided detailed information on topics including hygiene, infections, menopause, unwanted pregnancies, and methods of contraception. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, which were addressed at the end of the session.
