The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) participated in the “Being a Woman in NGOs” program, held on Friday, October 25, 2025, and hosted by the Birlik Foundation Kayseri Branch, with the participation of Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş.

During the program, Minister Göktaş emphasized that civil society is a powerful structure that reflects the pulse of the community and stated, “Wherever women are present, there is abundance, balance, and wisdom.”
The main agenda of the event included increasing women’s leadership roles in civil society organizations, strengthening social awareness, and promoting a culture of volunteerism.

The event was attended by the Governor of Kayseri, the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, members of the provincial protocol, press representatives, public institution officials, and numerous civil society organizations, foundations, and associations.

The program served as an important platform to enhance women’s visibility in civil society and to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation.
