The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) participated in the “Project Development and Resource Mobilization Training,” held in Ankara between 5–7 November 2025. ARSA was represented by Legal Advisor Fatma Doğru and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Meltem Demirel. Organized within the scope of the ACAR – Accountability for Children’s Rights and Advocacy Project, which is implemented by UNICEF with the co-financing of the European Union, the training aimed to strengthen the monitoring, reporting, and advocacy capacities of CSOs working in the field of children’s rights under STGM’s guidance.

During the three-day intensive program, participants gained both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience through group exercises in the following areas:

  • Introduction to grant programs and the project cycle

  • Problem, stakeholder, objective, and strategy analyses

  • Logical framework approach (objectives, risks, assumptions, indicators)

  • Activity planning

  • Resource mobilization methods

The sessions aimed to support organizations working in the field of children’s rights to develop more effective and sustainable approaches in project design, monitoring–evaluation, and advocacy. The ARSA team stated that this comprehensive training significantly contributed to strengthening institutional capacity in child-focused projects.
