ARSA participated in the first Protection Dialogues event organized by United Nations Refugees High Commissioner for Refugees in Ankara on June 19th. The opening speech of the meeting was delivered by Philippe Leclerc, UNHCR Representative in Turkey. Following the opening speech, UNHCR representatives presented the fundamentals and components of protection, the internalization of refugees in Turkey, social protection, economic inclusion and livelihoods, and inter-agency coordination. MD. Zakira Hekmat gave a presentation on ARSA's institutional activities and initiatives and Social Worker Meltem Demirel actively participated in the panel discussion on the protection sector and future plans during the open session.
