Afghan Refugee Solidarity Association participated in the General Forum Meeting of the Turkey Local NGO Humanitarian Forum (TİF) as a member. At the beginning of the meeting, the TİF Secretariat provided information about TİF's mission and focus areas and also discussed actions that have been undertaken up to that point.

Social Worker Meltem Demirel provided an update to TİF regarding her research project, which is currently in the writing phase.

In the first part of the meeting, participants held an open discussion to address the areas of focus for TİF's development. Topics included relationships with public institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector, partnerships and collaborations, working methods and principles, advocacy activities, varying humanitarian aid needs, service mapping, internal communication within TİF, donor relations, and meaningful involvement of TİF members.

In the second part, detailed discussions took place regarding methods to enhance the role and participation of refugee organizations within TİF, local coordination and development points, sustainability and capacity building, governance structure, and the code of conduct.
