On June 3, 2025, under the leadership of the Asylum seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA), a cultural and social integration trip was organized with the participation of students from Mehmet İlgü Primary School. The event took place in Ağırnas, the birthplace of the master of Turkish architecture, Mimar Sinan. Participants visited the Mimar Sinan Museum, Koramaz Valley Museum, hiking trails, and picnic areas.
This event aimed to foster cultural and social cohesion among students and their families who share the same classroom. The program concluded with a communal meal attended by the students, parents, and school staff. As a gesture of appreciation, a plaque of thanks was presented to ARSA’s President, Dr. Zakira Hekmat, by the teachers involved in the program.
This trip was carried out with the support of Terre des Hommes, a leading international organization advocating for children’s rights.
