In order to take a global attention for an immediate action on climate change and sustainability, an open letter was handed to the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres by the networks Localization Advocacy Group (YSG), Turkey Refugee Council (TMK), and Turkey Local NGO Humanitarian Forum (TIF), of which ARSA is a member. Alongside Türkiye, the letter was supported by networks from Nigeria, Cameroon, Somalia, Kenya, the Republic of Congo, Mali, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Pacific Islands and the Central America regional network.

As one of the organizations led this initiative, ARSA acknowledges that the open letter sends a powerful message and reflects a strong stance on addressing climate change, promoting global sustainable development.

We hope this open letter to lead to broader collaboration and inspire collective action for global environmental sustainability.
