Meridian International Center, a non-profit diplomatic institution founded in 1960, has honored and celebrated the outstanding dedicated efforts and achievements of MD. Zakira Hekmat in her noble work for refugees on its official website and announced her 2023 IVLP Impact Award Project called Bridge to the Future. Supported by the United States Department of State, the Program will address common challenges encountered in volunteer work and provide the basic skills necessary to effectively train volunteers.This recognition underscores the shared belief of both organizations that promoting better understanding and cooperation between the United States and the global community paves the way for a more secure and prosperous future for all.
