The research results of the "Support to the People in the Earthquake Zone" project, which was carried out under the cooperation of the Turkish Local NGO Humanitarian Forum (TİF) consisting of local and national civil society organizations active in Turkey, were published. The project aims to bring together and coordinate NGOs active in earthquake response.

In this context, the "Support to the People in the Earthquake Zone" project, which is carried out with a financial grant provided to the Afghan Refugee Solidarity Association (ARSA), is considered an important step. The project is implemented by the ARSA and prepared in collaboration with the ‘Support to Life’ Association.

This research aims to identify the basic needs of refugees in the earthquake zone, identify services they cannot access, and provide them with access to these services. Half of the refugees in Turkey live in 11 cities affected by the earthquake. After the earthquake, many refugees lost their lives and many others suffered financial and emotional damage.

The research specifically focuses on the refugee population in the provinces of Malatya, Kahramanmaraş and Adana, which were the most affected by the earthquake. The main activities of the project include fieldwork, interviews with refugees, identification of needs and analysis of the collected data.

The results of this comprehensive research are an important guide for understanding the challenges faced by earthquake victims and providing effective assistance in this regard.
