The painting workshop organized within the framework of the "Backpack Children" project led by the Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association was met with great interest and success. The central theme of the workshop was "happiness." Social Worker Meltem Demirel initiated an interactive conversation with the children about happiness, followed by a brainstorming session on defining happiness, engaging participants in a thought-provoking process. The children were then encouraged to create original works reflecting their own perceptions of happiness.
Throughout the workshop, the enjoyable atmosphere created with music and entertaining activities not only fostered positive interactions among the children but also ensured the fulfillment of the workshop's objectives.
This interactive and instructive workshop contributed to the overall goals of the project, providing children with the opportunity to showcase their creativity. The Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association continues to fulfill its social responsibilities by supporting social interaction and mutual assistance through such meaningful activities.
