Afghan Refugee Solidarity Association successfully concluded its sixth session on Sunday, November 12th, aimed at raising awareness. In this session, our institution's psychologist, Fatema Farahmand, comprehensively addressed significant topics such as types of depression, signs, solutions, and treatment methods, along with anxiety disorders, their types, and treatment methods.

The presentation led by our psychologist provided participants with valuable insights into understanding the origins of depression and anxiety, offering practical information on how to implement solutions in their own lives.

At the end of the session, a question-and-answer section and a brief survey were organized to enhance interaction among participants. In this section, participants asked questions related to depression and anxiety, and these questions were professionally answered by our institution's psychologist, Fatema Farahmand. Attendees gained knowledge about Depression and Anxiety, increased their awareness of how to reduce these conditions, and acquired information about treatment options by the end of the session.

This event was held within the scope of profect called "Improving Community-based Social Services for Refugees and Vulnerable Residents of Host Communities in Türkiye (CLIP 2)” which is co-funded by the European Union through its Humanitarian Aid Operations department (ECHO) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
